These past few days have been pretty scary for husband and for myself. Earlier this week the emergency room prescribed my husband some meds that caused his joints to stiffen. First it started with his facial muscles, which really scared me b/c I thought he was having a stroke. Then his knees starting locking up, and on Tuesday his jaw was locked opened!!! Of course he stopped taking the med, but we were told that it was still in his system and the same thing could happen again. So now, my husband and children are "temporarily" staying with his parents in SC so that they can monitor him and the children while I'm at work. Last night he told me his headaches were more intense than ever, and I feel so bad b/c there's nothing anyone can do about it.
But I must admit . . . I'm scared! My husband continues to pop pills hoping to relieve himself of some pain. By doing this, he has noticed that with certain drinks and foods he is unable to consume b/c they bother his kidneys. At the emergency room, I asked the doctor to test his kidney's and the doctor said they were ok, but this morning I talked to my husband and he was explaining to me some other symptoms he was having due to all the meds.
Today, however, he is suppose to see a headache specialist in SC. I hope it goes well. I will keep you all posted!!!
